OK so it’s pretty unlikely that anyone has had their clutch plate nabbed by a dog while they were re-corking it at the side of the road but then, none of us are old enough to have been there... so who’s to say?  I’m more wondering whether she’s going to give it back to him or ride off with it...

Not so different to today in many ways, but that right-hand clutch lever’s a bit of a challenge with a left-hand brake! (Which is why I’ve swapped mine back around… didn’t even attempt to try it on the road!)

(The 350 big port had become the young hooligan’s bike of choice by the late ‘20s - the 350LC of it’s time… couldn’t resist the reference on the tank and the light nod to the Yamaha speed blocks of the gloriously yobbish aircooled RD250s and 400s from around the time that I first started riding, albeit in a ‘20s take.)
